As bizarre and unlikely a combination these two items are, they have proved to have rid me of 95% of my acne, from which I have suffered for over 6 years, from the age of 10. I discovered their success at preventing acne after trying hundreds of products, many of which helped somewhat but none of which completely cured me. After 5 years of acne I began looking at alternative solutions to something that was depressing me more and more.

Vinegar

I discovered that normal distilled vinegar (very cheap available anywhere) applied to my face twice a day with a cotton pad, rid me of 70% of my acne. The acidic vinegar kills any bacteria as they do not like acidic conditions. I found I could apply the vinegar directly, although the smell is quite bad at first, you quickly become used to it. For some pure vinegar may be too strong for their skin and I would recommend trialling various dilutions such as half water, half vinegar.

Sudocrem

After clearing 70% of my acne I was determined to rid the rest, and stumbled upon Sudocrem. This white crem is mostly known for its use as a nappy rash crem, however it cleared my acne wonderfully to the 95% clear I am happy with today. I simply apply a small bit to each pimple at night before sleeping and leave it on overnight.

To find these two products I tried countless over the counter remedies as well as honey, anti-biotics, lemon juice and supplements and hope this information could be useful to others looking to clear their acne, as I know how awful it can be.

Hi, the brand name is actually Sudocrem and it is amazing stuff, we used to use it on our horses for cuts, sunburnt noses and allsorts, we also use it on our dogs for the same thing. It is also great for mild excema which I suffer from at stressful times. Well done you for discovering a brilliant combination that is not only extremely effective, but CHEAP!! Thanks for an interesting read, rated up!

Alison, I have to admit, I have never noticed that it's crem not cream after using it for years! Thanks for pointing it out and the comment, I'll have to change the mistake.

Wow!! Thank you so much for discovering this and sharing it with others. I am so fed up with my acne; I've had it for several years now! :( As a young woman I would like to be rid of it once and for all to show off the nice skin I have under it all. :) I commend and thank you!

Where can you get Sudocrem? I don't think it is available where I'm from.
